sculpture
'i don't fit into your frames'
Casts of different parts of the artist’s body mounted on art wood panels that are mass produced and rectangular. The organic shapes and forms of the body against the massproduced rectangle shows the often rigid and unwritten ‘rules’ and boxes in our society. Orientation, race, sexuality, look etc. The mirrors reveal the backside of the sculpture that is imperfect and rough, which represents the complex thoughts, feelings and history of each person while mirroring the viewer in the piece.
